Love Thy Monster
I collaborated with architects from "The Maak" in Tbilisi, Georgia- bringing together architecture, design, and storytelling called Love Thy Monster.
Love Thy Monsters’ is an exhibition that raises awareness around the illegal dumping of construction waste in Dighomi Meadows, one of the last remaining riparian forests in the region of Tbilisi, Georgia

MAAK architects and the group of local architects from Tbilisi had a goal to make new furnitures and art pieces from the trash. The furnitures would at the end become a part of the cultural event place Mutant Radio.

Together they stacked a van of all the trash that was found to be useful materials.
During COVID the illegal dumping of trash in the nature increased and became a huge issue in Tbilisi.

I followed the process.

Love Thy Monsters explored how we live with the things we leave behind. The project turned trash into something new - raising questions about consumption, care, and creative reuse.

The film was screened at MUTANT RADIO Tbilis as a part of the Tblisi Bienale in 2023
